The Scientist Who Crossed the Veil

Artemis The Heart Whisperer brings a unique perspective to The New Woo — one that bridges scientific discipline, spiritual inquiry, and the transformative potential of human consciousness. With a background in zoology, decades of spiritual practice, and a lifelong exploration of inner awareness, her work explores what happens when intuition, healing, presence, and nature intersect.

Her contribution to The New Woo, a feature-length documentary from Lolli Brands Entertainment exploring consciousness, energy, and human transformation, spans two interconnected themes: the spirituality of presence and the science and spirit of vibrational essential oils.

Together, they reflect a life devoted to understanding both the measurable and the mysterious aspects of human experience.

From Science to Spiritual Inquiry

Artemis’s journey began firmly within the world of science. Drawn to nature from an early age, she pursued studies in Zoology, graduating with First Class Honours and receiving a University Medal in Science, awarded to the highest-performing graduate across the entire Faculty of Science.

She later worked as a zoologist for the Queensland National Parks and Wildlife Service and as a consultant for the World Wildlife Fund.

By every conventional standard, Artemis was deeply grounded in scientific thinking — trained in observation, systems, pattern recognition, and environmental protection.

But at 18 years old, a single moment altered the direction of her life.

Driving toward a blind hill at high speed, she heard a voice in her mind urgently telling her to stop — NOW. She obeyed instinctively.

Moments later, a small dog hidden from view crossed the road ahead unharmed.

For Artemis, the experience raised questions that science alone could not answer: What was that voice? Where did it come from? And what exists within human consciousness that modern science has not yet learned how to measure?

That moment became the beginning of a lifelong exploration into intuition, awareness, healing, and the unseen dimensions of human experience.

The Power of Presence and Perception

Over more than four decades, Artemis has developed a body of work centered on deep listening, presence, emotional insight, and human transformation.

Rather than working from rigid protocols or predefined systems, she describes her process as opening space, listening beyond words, and following what she calls “the invisible thread” of what is emotionally true for the individual in front of her.

Her work often focuses on helping people uncover the deeper emotional patterns beneath suffering — not simply addressing surface symptoms, but identifying the unseen beliefs, wounds, and emotional experiences shaping their lives.

This impact has been reflected through stories shared by clients and students across retreat settings, healing work, and everyday encounters.

In one example, a woman attending a seven-day retreat realized that what she believed to be lifelong feelings of unworthiness were actually rooted in feeling unseen and emotionally unheard. Months later, she described major shifts in her relationships, emotional connection, and self-expression after recognizing what Artemis called her “core wound.”

Others describe encounters with Artemis not as informational experiences, but as moments that fundamentally shift perspective and reconnect them to themselves.

In The New Woo, Artemis explores the idea that some of the most meaningful human experiences do not fit neatly inside conventional frameworks. Her perspective examines presence itself as an underexplored form of healing — one capable of changing how people relate to themselves, others, and the world around them.

Exploring the Science and Spirit of Vibrational Essential Oils

Alongside her spiritual work, Artemis has spent decades studying and teaching the use of essential oils from aromatic, ceremonial, vibrational, and lifestyle perspectives.

Her interest in the field began in 1998, eventually leading her to identify what she describes as an important distinction within the essential oil industry: not all oils retain the full energetic and chemical integrity of the plant they come from.

In the early 2000s, she coined the phrase “vibrational essential oils” to describe oils produced in a way that preserves the full spectrum of compounds naturally present within the plant.

According to Artemis, these oils carry what she describes as a “living frequency,” offering both aromatic depth and an energetic quality she compares to “the finest of wines.”

Her work with vibrational essential oils extends into emotional wellbeing, ritual, personal transformation, and connection to nature itself.

She teaches that essential oils can act as a bridge between individuals and what she calls the wisdom and spirit of the plant — allowing people to reconnect with the intelligence of nature in a deeply personal way.

Ancient Rituals, Modern Healing

Drawing inspiration from ancient ceremonial traditions, Artemis has created four original healing modalities, each accredited by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.

Among the most recognized is the Egyptian Emotional Clearing Technique, inspired by rituals depicted in hieroglyphs at the Temple of Isis.

The process combines vibrational essential oil blends, sacred ceremony, and energy work to guide participants into states of deep relaxation, heightened awareness, emotional clarity, and reconnection.

Artemis describes the experience as an “inner vision quest,” designed to create space for insight, healing, and transformation.

Her appearance in The New Woo contributes a perspective that sits at the intersection of science, spirituality, ritual, intuition, and plant wisdom — inviting audiences to reconsider ideas that have historically been dismissed simply because they remain difficult to measure.

As interest grows around consciousness, healing, and human transformation, Artemis’s work reflects a broader cultural shift toward exploring the unseen dimensions of human experience with both curiosity and openness.

For Artemis, the conversation is ultimately about possibility.

What was once dismissed as “woo,” she suggests, may simply be that which humanity has not yet fully learned how to understand.
