Dr. Catherine Davies joins “Bye Ol’ Dentistry” as one of the medical voices bridging longevity science with oral-systemic health. Her participation brings a physician’s lens to a field often dominated by dental narratives, highlighting how oral inflammation, airway health, and systemic aging are deeply interconnected. Through her expertise in regenerative medicine and preventive care, she helps broaden the film’s message: dentistry is a foundational longevity lever.

“Bye Ol’ Dentistry,” produced by Lolli Brands Entertainment, showcases global leaders reimagining the future of dental and medical care. The film unites clinicians, researchers, and educators to expose the limitations of outdated models and present a new framework rooted in regeneration, biology, and prevention. Dr. Davies’ contribution helps viewers understand how oral health ties directly into lifespan, healthspan, and long-term vitality.

A New Lens on Longevity and Medicine

Among the pillars of longevity—sleep, nutrition, movement, metabolic health, stress, and environment—one area remains consistently overlooked: oral health. As someone who has spent her career at the intersection of medicine, aesthetics, regenerative therapy, and longevity science, Dr. Catherine Davies has become increasingly passionate about bringing oral health into mainstream anti-aging conversations.

Dr. Davies has practiced as a medical doctor since 1998 (at the age of 23), and from the very beginning felt a deep discomfort with the traditional model of medicine—waiting for disease to appear and then trying to patch people back together. To her, it felt reactive, disempowering, and at times even heartbreaking. She would look at her patients and think, “There must be a better way.” She believed people should not have to wait for suffering before they act.

That longing to do more led her into regenerative medicine, where she became fascinated by the body’s extraordinary ability to heal itself when given the right tools. Everything shifted when she began studying longevity science—why cells, organs, and entire systems age, and why society has accepted decline as an unavoidable part of life. For her, it was a paradigm-altering revelation. Once a person understands the mechanisms of aging, it becomes impossible to ignore how much of it is preventable, modifiable, and profoundly influenced by daily choices.

After completing her MBBCh and later an MBA at Henley Business School, she expanded her work into regenerative medicine, aesthetics, and hair surgery, developing a passion for healing, tissue regeneration, the microbiome, and cellular aging—all core elements of longevity science. Her Master’s in Longevity Science (GCLS) further enabled her to integrate her disciplines into a unified vision of prevention, healthy aging, and healthspan optimisation.

Empowering Patients Through Preventive Medicine

Dr. Davies wants her patients—and the world—to know they are not helpless passengers in the aging process. There are countless ways to influence the trajectory of health, vitality, and overall quality of life. Biohacking, lifestyle optimization, and evidence-based longevity strategies allow people to take control long before disease takes hold. Seeing individuals reclaim confidence, energy, and hope is what drives her every day.

Beyond clinical practice, she is a published author, an international speaker, and the host of “Outpatients” on Discovery Health and Discovery Home, now in its third season—a platform through which she educates millions on health, science, and the power of preventive living.

Why “Bye Ol’ Dentistry”? The Overlooked Longevity Lever

Dr. Davies’ decision to join “Bye Ol’ Dentistry” comes from both personal and professional conviction. For years, she has worked closely with her mentor and friend, Dr. Richard Miron, one of the world’s leading figures in regenerative dentistry and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin). Together, through clinical work and academic publications, they have explored the deep connection between:

  • oral ecology

  • systemic inflammation

  • hormonal health

  • metabolic function

  • breathing and sleep

  • aesthetics and facial aging

  • and overall well-being

Dentistry, she believes, sits at the crossroads of predictive and preventive medicine, yet it rarely receives the recognition it deserves in longevity and wellness conversations.

Today, research clearly shows that:

  • The oral microbiome influences systemic inflammation, a major accelerator of aging.

  • Periodontal disease is linked to cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and autoimmune disorders.

  • Sleep, breathing, and airway health—core foundations of longevity—can often be improved through dental interventions.

  • Hormonal changes, especially in women, are reflected in the gums and oral tissues.

  • Oral structure impacts facial aging, posture, alignment, and airway integrity.

These insights make dentistry one of the most powerful—and most neglected—longevity tools we have.

“Bye Ol’ Dentistry” appealed to her because it is fresh, modern, science-backed, patient-centered, and aligned with the future of preventive healthcare. It is not just about treating teeth; it is about empowering patients with knowledge so they can optimise long-term wellbeing. It recognizes the whole person and the interconnectedness of every system.

“One of the reasons I have always admired Biohack Yourself Media is because it embodies the same philosophy that guides my own work: your health begins with YOU,” Dr. Davies shares.

“I was so excited to work with the inspiring Lolli duo, who have created a platform that is scientifically grounded, family-oriented, and deeply empowering. Their ability to make health accessible to everyday people aligns perfectly with my belief that health literacy is the foundation of longevity.”

Why Getting This Message Out Matters

We live in a world overwhelmed by chronic disease, stress, and premature aging. Patients are desperate for clarity, guidance, and simple ways to take action. By combining the science of longevity with the everyday accessibility of oral care, she believes we can change the trajectory of people’s lives.

And that is why she is here—to teach, empower, simplify, inspire, and help people unlock the healthiest, longest life they can. And she admits, she is also at the age where she needs all the help she can get for herself.
