Healing does not begin with a procedure. It begins with understanding the whole human system.
This belief sits at the heart of the work of Hana and Eva Luskačová.
Hana and Eva Luskačová are twin sisters, physicians and dentists, and founders of DuoSmile Biological Dental Care in Brno, Czech Republic. They stand at the forefront of a growing shift in dentistry one that recognizes the mouth as a gateway to systemic health, nervous-system balance, and long-term regeneration. Through their philosophy of Mind–Body–Soul Dentistry, they are helping redefine dentistry as integrative healthcare rather than isolated mechanical repair.

In “Bye Ol’ Dentistry,” Hana and Eva Luskačová contribute their clinical perspective on dentistry as a systems-based discipline one that directly influences immune regulation, nervous-system balance, and the body’s regenerative capacity. Their participation reflects both their medical training and their lived experience of integrating dentistry into whole-body care.
Medical Foundations and Lived Experience
Raised in a family of physicians, both sisters developed an early respect for medicine and the interconnected nature of the human body. They completed dual degrees in Medicine and Dentistry at Charles University in Prague, followed by extensive postgraduate education and international clinical training across Europe and beyond. This medical foundation shaped their ability to look past symptoms and techniques and to ask deeper clinical questions about root causes and long-term outcomes.
Their vision for DuoSmile was shaped not only by education, but by lived experience. Both Hana and Eva navigated their own health challenges, including fluorosis, thyroid imbalance, chronic stress, and autoimmune tendencies. These experiences revealed the limitations of fragmented healthcare and deepened their understanding of how emotional strain, nervous-system overload, and environmental toxicity affect the body’s capacity to heal.
From Personal Healing to Clinical Mission
What began as personal healing evolved into the foundation of their professional mission.
DuoSmile was created as a space where advanced biological dentistry meets whole-body medicine. The clinic specializes in metal-free zirconia implantology, cavitation surgery, plasma-based tissue regeneration, ozone therapy, and the safe removal of toxic dental materials.
Every intervention is supported by individualized pre- and post-operative protocols addressing nutrition, micronutrients, immune resilience, bone metabolism, and recovery capacity. The goal is not only technical success, but biological stability that lasts.
A defining element of the Luskačová sisters’ work is their focus on the autonomic nervous system. In clinical practice, they repeatedly observe that chronic stress and sympathetic overactivation impair healing, increase inflammation, and compromise surgical outcomes. For this reason, their approach includes education around nervous-system regulation, emotional awareness, sleep, and lifestyle coherence as essential components of care.
This philosophy is structured around eight foundational pillars: nutrition, movement, prevention, sleep, detoxification, belief systems, emotional integration, and joy as a regulator of physiological balance. These pillars guide both clinical decision-making and patient education. Dentistry becomes part of a larger health ecosystem rather than a standalone intervention.

Education, Empowerment, and Expanded Impact
Patients at DuoSmile are treated as active participants in their healing. Education, transparency, and trust form the foundation of the clinical experience. Tools such as whole-body diagnostics and tooth–body connections are used not as rigid doctrine, but as a way to understand patterns influencing chronic symptoms and resilience. Many patients report improvements not only in oral health, but also in migraines, chronic fatigue, autoimmune thyroid conditions, digestive inflammation, anxiety, and overall vitality after addressing oral interferences.
To extend their work beyond the clinic, Hana and Eva are developing two educational projects. “Healing Through Dentistry” outlines their integrative clinical framework and philosophy. The “Healing Through Dentistry Cookbook” offers practical nutritional guidance to support bone health, immunity, and regeneration in a modern food environment.
Why “Bye Ol’ Dentistry” Matters
Hana and Eva chose to participate in the documentary “Bye Ol’ Dentistry” because it reflects the evolution they have lived for years. They see dentistry at a crossroads. It can remain a technically skilled but isolated profession, or it can step into its role as a contributor to preventive and systemic healthcare. For them, this shift is not ideological. It is clinically necessary.
“Bye Ol’ Dentistry” brings together practitioners who challenge reductionist models of care and present dentistry as a critical entry point to systemic health. Through their inclusion, the film highlights how addressing oral stressors, toxic burdens, and nervous-system imbalance can support healing far beyond the mouth.

By addressing oral interferences that burden the immune system, disrupt neural regulation, or drive chronic inflammation, dentistry can influence health far beyond the mouth. The documentary provides a platform to share this vision globally and to invite both professionals and patients to rethink what dentistry can be.
Today, Hana and Eva Luskačová are recognized as pioneers of a biologically informed, human-centered approach to dentistry. Through DuoSmile, their educational work, and their participation in “Bye Ol’ Dentistry,” they continue to advocate for a future where dentistry supports self-leadership, systemic health, and regeneration.
Their mission is not to fix teeth. Their mission is to help people remember that healing begins with awareness, responsibility, and choice.
