Dr. Richard Miron, a lead educator and researcher at Advanced PRF Education in Palm Beach, Florida, and the founder of the Center for Advanced Rejuvenation and Esthetics (CARE) with over 250 clinics across the country, is joining the groundbreaking documentary, “Bye Ol’ Dentistry.”

Produced by Lolli Brands Entertainment, “Bye Ol’ Dentistry” explores the global movement toward safer, regenerative, and biologically driven dental care. By featuring leading scientists, clinicians, and innovators, the film sheds light on how modern dentistry is shifting from conventional procedures to natural, evidence-based regenerative therapies. Dr. Miron, a part-time Adjunct Visiting Faculty in the department of Periodontology in Bern, Switzerland, brings a strong scientific foundation to the discussion, highlighting how platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and autologous biomaterials can transform both oral and facial rejuvenation.
Pioneering Research and Global Recognition
Dr. Miron has a very unique background—he has dual training in dentistry and holds a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology. He is well known for his research and development contributions to the field of dental and medical biomaterials and growth factors, where he has been responsible for the development of many autologous platelet concentrates (PRP/PRF) and exosome therapies in regenerative medicine.
He has published over 400 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and lectures internationally on topics relating to growth factors, bone biomaterials, guided bone regeneration, and exosomes. He has written 10 textbooks widely distributed in regenerative dentistry, including his best-sellers: “Next Generation Biomaterials for Bone and Periodontal Regeneration” in 2019; “Platelet Rich Fibrin in Facial Esthetics” in 2020; “Understanding Platelet Rich Fibrin” in 2021; and “Modern Implant Dentistry” in 2023.
Since 2022, he has been the most cited dentist in all of North America currently working in private practice.

In 2016, he founded Advanced PRF Education, a training facility that gives over 30 courses per year around the world on the novel applications of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy in both the dental and medical/facial aesthetics fields. His research lab has been involved in many of the current trends and developments related to PRF therapy, including horizontal centrifugation and the albumin gel therapies to make all-natural facial fillers (Bio-Fillers).
For the past decade, Dr. Miron has been recognized by Dentistry Today as one of the top 100 CE providers in the country and the youngest to ever make the list. He is also the top-ranked researcher on Platelet-Rich Fibrin therapy, as per Expertscape's independent review. He has been awarded many international prizes in dentistry and is widely considered one of the top contributors to implant dentistry, having won the ITI Andre Schroeder Prize, the IADR Young Investigator of the Year in the field of Implant Dentistry, and the IADR Socransky Research Award in the field of Periodontology.
From Research to Regenerative Practice
Following his move from Switzerland to Florida, Dr. Miron started to focus on developing novel treatment approaches using more natural approaches with lasers and PRF in combination therapy. In 2020, he founded CARE Esthetics to provide patients with more natural regenerative strategies in both dentistry and facial aesthetics. As he continued to showcase these therapies in his teachings, he decided to work with other dentists across the country through his brand. In four years, they have opened over 250 new clinics with a main focus on utilizing these novel therapies, many of which were developed in his lab.

Educator, Innovator, and Global Leader
Today, Dr. Miron focuses the majority of his efforts on filling this gap of knowledge in his numerous courses at Advanced PRF Education. He also launched an online platform to reach more doctors and dentists. The novel therapies can also be found at bio-prf.com for medical providers and dentists.
Dr. Miron’s presence in “Bye Ol’ Dentistry” adds depth to the film’s exploration of science-driven biological care. He focuses on bridging the gap between laboratory innovation and clinical application, showing how regenerative medicine can help replace outdated practices with natural, patient-centered alternatives. By showcasing his work in PRF and exosome therapies, the film emphasizes the importance of combining research, education, and accessibility to create a safer and more sustainable future for dentistry.
“I decided to be part of ‘Bye Ol’ Dentistry’ to add a scientist to this excellent lineup of top-tier clinicians. Together, I believe we form one of the strongest communities in biological dentistry, and it was an honor to join the team and bring some scientific rigor to our everyday practice.”
