LATEST STORIES

In a time of global stress, emotional burnout, and spiritual disconnection, Emily Fletcher is offering a lifeline—not just to manage the chaos, but to alchemize it into purpose, creativity, and joy.

The founder of Ziva Meditation and creator of the groundbreaking Ziva Magic technique, Fletcher is on a mission to help people—especially women—embody their highest potential through a trifecta of practices: meditation, manifesting, and mindful intention. Having taught over 60,000 students, authored the best-selling book Stress Less, Accomplish More, and developed kids’ meditation programs with input from Harvard psychologists and Sesame Street creatives, Fletcher has become a global force in the wellness space.

“We meditate to get good at life, not to get good at meditation,” Fletcher says in an interview with TereZa Hakobyan-Lolli and Anthony Lolli, Editors-in-Chief of longevity and wellness platform Biohack Yourself, for the influential upcoming women’s health documentary, “sHEALed.” “This isn’t about being a monk—it’s about being more human.”

The sHEALed Documentary is the sister documentary to Biohack Yourself, which became a massive success after exploding on the scene in December 2024 and ignited a firestorm of interest in information focused on health and longevity. Biohack Yourself features 114 prominent and respected high-profile politicians, doctors, bestselling authors, Ph.D.s, M.D.s, scientists, chemists, inventors, biotech investors, and world-renowned academics. Stemming from the success of Biohack Yourself, TereZa Hakobyan-Lolli and Anthony Lolli have grown Biohack Yourself Media to become the number one resource for health news, publishing over 500 articles ranging from breaking news to peer reviewed content.

From Broadway to Breakthroughs

Before she became a spiritual guide to thousands, Emily Fletcher was a Broadway star. But despite living her childhood dream, she was suffering: insomnia, chronic illness, early graying hair, and daily anxiety. “I was understudying three lead roles. Every day, I didn’t know who I’d be on stage,” Fletcher recalls. “I was living the dream—and I was miserable.”

Everything changed when a castmate introduced her to meditation. After just one class, Fletcher slept through the night for the first time in 18 months. “It was like my body remembered what it felt like to rest. And I’ve slept every night since. That was 16 years ago.”

She left Broadway, studied meditation in India, and began teaching full-time. Her work has since evolved into Ziva—one of the first online meditation training platforms—and now Ziva Magic, which helps students unlock their full creative power.

What Is Ziva Meditation?

Ziva Meditation combines three key components:

  1. Mindfulness: Manages stress in the present.

  2. Meditation: Clears stress stored in the body from the past.

  3. Manifesting: Programs the brain to create the future you desire.

Unlike many traditional practices that expect users to “clear their minds,” Fletcher’s technique works with the mind, not against it. It doesn’t require hours of silence or total stillness—just a few minutes of guided focus each day.

“There are two kinds of meditation,” she explains. “Techniques for monks, and techniques for people with jobs, kids, and lives. If you’re not a monk, don’t meditate like one.”

Ziva Magic: Manifesting from the Body

While Ziva Meditation grounds the nervous system, Ziva Magic takes things further. It’s a form of “embodied manifestation” that teaches people how to harness their energy—mental, emotional, and sexual—to magnetize their goals into reality.

“Most people manifest from the neck up,” Fletcher explains. “They think about what they want. But Ziva Magic brings your head, heart, and ‘hoo-ha’ into alignment. It’s about using your whole body to create.”

Ziva Magic begins with visualization—building vivid, sensory-rich mental movies of the life you want. Then, it shifts into alchemy and magnetism, where emotions and energy combine to “call in” that future.

“If it feels like magic, that’s because it sort of is,” she smiles. “But it’s also backed by science—especially neuroscience and physiology.”

The Science Behind It

Meditation is no longer dismissed as woo-woo. Research shows it reduces cortisol, increases dopamine and serotonin, improves sleep, and even reverses biological aging by up to 15 years. Fletcher says within just 45 seconds of Ziva practice, students experience measurable physiological changes: slower breathing, lower metabolic rate, and increased blood alkalinity.

And the power of manifestation? That’s where the brain’s reticular activating system (RAS) comes in. The RAS filters the millions of stimuli we receive daily. When programmed through visualization, it begins filtering for opportunities aligned with your desires.

“It’s like getting a blue car and suddenly seeing blue cars everywhere. Your brain starts highlighting the things that match your vision,” Fletcher explains.

Meditation for Women: A Gateway to Power and Healing

For women, especially mothers and professionals juggling it all, Fletcher sees meditation not as a luxury—but as a necessity. “Stress is robbing us of our joy, our sleep, our sex drive, and even our fertility,” she says. “It’s time to stop normalizing burnout.”

She shares the story of women who, after months of Ziva practice, reversed signs of aging and improved fertility—even being told by doctors they had the hormone profiles of teenagers. “When we remove stress at the cellular level, we don’t just feel better—we become more powerful,” Fletcher insists.

And for women past their reproductive years, she says, even greater power awaits.

“A woman’s creative force doesn’t disappear when she stops menstruating—it gets redirected. That energy can now be used to birth companies, movements, art—whatever she desires. That’s why older women have historically been feared. They’re wildly powerful.”

Actionable Tips for Readers

  1. Try the “Ziva Trifecta”: Spend just 15 minutes daily in mindfulness, meditation, and manifesting.

  2. Visualize with Your Senses: Don’t just see your goal—feel it, smell it, hear it. Create a “mental movie” of your dream life.

  3. Start Small: Don’t wait for burnout. Begin with 3–5 minutes of breathing or guided meditation each morning.

  4. Meditate Before You Manifest: Calming the nervous system makes your brain more creative and your goals more attainable.

  5. Teach Your Kids: Use playful tools like Z Bunny to give children a head start in managing stress and building confidence.

  6. Let Go of Perfection: You don’t need a monastery, silence, or a cushion. Just consistency and self-compassion.

Ziva Kids: Building Superpowers Early

Fletcher’s mission isn’t just for adults. With Ziva Kids, she’s helping the next generation develop emotional resilience and focus.

Created in collaboration with Harvard experts and Sesame Street producers, the program features a puppet named Z Bunny, who learns meditation and visualization over seven days—alongside the children watching.

“It’s not about fixing something broken,” Fletcher says. “It’s about giving kids tools to unlock their superpowers.”

Key Takeaways from Emily Fletcher’s Wisdom

  • You don’t have to “clear your mind” to meditate. That’s a myth. Meditation is a skill anyone can learn.

  • Stress is the root of most modern illness. Meditation reduces cortisol and improves brain function, sleep, and aging.

  • Manifestation is real science. The reticular activating system helps filter the world through your beliefs and intentions.

  • Embodied manifesting is more powerful than thinking alone. When your whole body is aligned with your vision, creation becomes magnetic.

  • Women’s creative energy is a superpower. Whether you’re birthing babies or businesses, your energy matters.

A Message of Hope

For the millions of women navigating uncertainty, overwhelm, and transformation, Fletcher offers a powerful vision of possibility.

“We’re watching old systems collapse and new ones rise. We are birth doulas and death doulas at the same time. The way forward is not more hustle—it’s more presence,” she says. “If we come home to ourselves, if we trust our nature-given creativity, there’s nothing we can’t do.”

Through Ziva Meditation and Ziva Magic, Emily Fletcher is not only helping people survive the chaos—she’s teaching them how to thrive, love, and lead from a place of deep inner power.
