Elena Cardone, an author, speaker, mentor, and co-founder of the Grant Cardone Foundation, is on a mission to redefine success for women. Known for her work in business, finance, and personal development, she has recently expanded her focus to health and wellness, recognizing that true success starts with taking care of yourself first. Cardone sat down with TereZa Hakobyan-Lolli and Anthony Lolli, Editors-in-Chief of longevity and wellness platform Biohack Yourself, for an interview for the influential upcoming women’s health documentary, “sHEALed,” to share insights on biohacking, precision health, and the mindset shifts women need to reclaim their power.

The sHEALed Documentary is the sister documentary to Biohack Yourself, which became a massive success after exploding on the scene in December 2024 and ignited a firestorm of interest in information focused on health and longevity. Biohack Yourself features 114 prominent and respected high-profile politicians, doctors, bestselling authors, Ph.D.s, M.D.s, scientists, chemists, inventors, biotech investors, and world-renowned academics. Stemming from the success of Biohack Yourself, TereZa Hakobyan-Lolli and Anthony Lolli have grown Biohack Yourself Media to become the number one resource for health news, publishing over 500 articles ranging from breaking news to peer reviewed content.

Why Women’s Health is the Foundation of Success

Cardone has always been a proponent of women taking control of their lives, but she now sees health as the ultimate foundation. "In the past, self-care was often viewed as selfish," she explained. "Now, I see it as a strength. If a woman is going to take care of her family, her community, or build an empire, she needs to be strong, vital, and mentally clear."

She believes women have been conditioned to put themselves last, leading to burnout, hormone imbalances, and preventable health issues. "We’ve been reactive with our health, treating symptoms instead of optimizing wellness. But the science of biohacking, precision medicine, and preventative care is changing everything."

Precision Health: The Future of Personalized Wellness

Cardone is a strong advocate for precision health, a cutting-edge approach that tailors nutrition, exercise, and supplementation to an individual’s genetic profile.

"For years, we were told that one-size-fits-all health advice worked for everyone. But that’s not true. Genetics play a huge role in how our bodies react to food, exercise, and toxins."

Through genetic testing and customized health protocols, she has transformed her own well-being. "I used to take random vitamins, thinking they were good for me. But when I got my genetic profile, I learned that some of those vitamins were actually toxic to my body. Now, every supplement I take is based on my unique genetic needs."

Top Biohacks Cardone Uses for Longevity

Cardone integrates daily biohacks into her routine, including:

  1. Red Light Therapy: "Supports cellular repair and skin health."

  2. Cold Plunges: "Boosts metabolism and mental resilience—though I admit, I don’t always love it!"

  3. Precision Nutrition: "Instead of following generic diet trends, I eat what’s optimal for my genetics."

  4. Personalized IV Therapy: "Instead of random vitamin drips, my IVs are customized for what my body actually needs."

She emphasizes that health is not guesswork anymore. "With genetic testing and bloodwork, you don’t have to wonder what works—you’ll know."

The Role of Genetics in Weight Loss & Aging

Cardone shared how turning 50 brought unexpected changes. "For the first time, I felt confused about my body. Things that used to work stopped working. I started gaining weight and couldn’t figure out why."

Through genetic testing, she learned:

  • Her body doesn’t lose weight through exercise alone. "I used to work out for hours, thinking that was the key. Turns out, caloric intake matters more for my body type."

  • Certain foods are harmful to her system. "For example, I learned that broccoli—something considered super healthy—isn’t good for me based on my genes."

  • Her metabolism responds differently to protein. "I always thought more protein meant more muscle. But for me, excess protein turns into fat."

"This information changed my entire approach to fitness and nutrition. It’s not about what works for the masses—it’s about what works for me."

Health Optimization: From Weight Loss to Performance

Cardone’s personalized health strategy evolves over time. "I started with weight loss, then moved into maintenance, and now I’m focusing on performance and longevity."

Her approach includes:

  • Adjusting diet based on genetic feedback

  • Optimizing exercise intensity and duration

  • Using AI-driven meal planning for precision nutrition

"I used to think all cheese was bad. Now, I know certain cheeses are okay for me during maintenance but not during weight loss. It’s that specific."

A New Era of Preventative Healthcare

Cardone is passionate about spreading awareness about precision health, believing it could change the entire healthcare system. "If we had access to genetic testing at birth, we could prevent so many illnesses."

She hopes that advancements in biohacking and personalized medicine will eventually become mainstream. "This technology should be available to everyone, not just the elite. Imagine if kids knew what foods were best for them from day one? How many diseases could we prevent?"

Balancing Family, Business & Health

As a mother of two, Cardone understands the challenges of staying healthy while raising children. "It’s a balance. I set the example by making health a priority, but I also give my daughters the space to make their own choices."

She believes modern parenting needs to shift away from food addiction cycles. "Why are we indoctrinating kids to crave sugar-filled drinks? We need to teach them how to make empowered health choices."

The Role of Relationships in Health

Cardone also addressed the impact of stress in relationships on women’s health. "Studies show that married men live longer, but married women don’t. Why? Because women take on more stress and responsibility in relationships."

Her keys to a supportive marriage with Grant Cardone include:

  • Clear roles & responsibilities: "I run the family, he runs the business. We don’t step on each other’s lanes."

  • Eliminating toxic influences: "We agree on who is an asset vs. a liability in our lives. Toxicity isn’t just in food: it’s in relationships too."

  • Intentional connection: "We now prioritize date nights and annual family trips to stay connected."

An Empowering Era

Cardone believes this is the most empowering era for women’s health. "For the first time, we can take control of our bodies with science-backed solutions. We don’t have to feel lost, broken, or dependent on a system that only treats symptoms instead of preventing problems."

Her final message: "Women are not powerless. You can take control of your health, energy, and longevity. The knowledge is here—use it to build your empire."

Through her advocacy for precision health, business leadership, and mentorship, Elena Cardone is proving that true success starts with mastering yourself first.
