FROM RESEARCH TO RESONANCE: HOW DR. CHRISTINA RAHM IS BRIDGING SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY TO REDEFINE HUMAN RESILIENCE
BECKY GRANDEN
2025

Dr. Christina Rahm is a woman of paradox—and profound purpose. A trained scientist grounded in herbal medicine. A biotech researcher who speaks openly about sovereignty and spirituality. A survivor of Lyme disease, cancer, and systemic toxicity who has now built one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the world: The ROOT Brands.
In this intimate conversation, she shares the personal health crises that reshaped her mission, her relentless pursuit of clean manufacturing and scientific integrity, and her bold vision for the future of healing—a future unfolding not just in labs and clinics, but in hearts, homes, and ecosystems of empowered self-care.
Breaking the Mold
Dr. Rahm’s path wasn’t shaped by a single defining moment—but by a series of deeply personal ones. From brain and spinal tumors to cancer diagnoses and her children’s health challenges, each experience deepened her belief that healing had to go far beyond conventional medicine.
“I don’t think there was exactly a pivotal moment,” she explained. “But those experiences caused me to understand there had to be a broad scope of healthcare—and that's defined differently in different countries.”
Her worldview, shaped by work in 92 countries, bridges both Western science and Indigenous healing traditions. “Growing up Native American Indian, working with herbs—that’s always been a part of my life,” she said. “People had a misunderstanding that I was just in biotech and pharma.”
One of her earliest realizations came at 19, after being diagnosed with Lyme disease. “I really realized I needed to go back to my roots and use natural things. I did not want to be on steroids the rest of my life.”
Years later, a cancer diagnosis during pregnancy cemented her approach. “I made a decision at that time—I am not going to just do what one doctor says or what one country says. I'm going to incorporate everything that I've learned throughout my life.”
The ROOT Brands & Cellular Health
Founder and CEO of DRC Ventures and Chief Science Officer & Formulator at The ROOT Brands, Dr. Rahm has filed over 100 patents globally, with a focus on detoxification, remediation, and cellular protection using natural compounds from seeds, leaves, air, water, and earth.
“The problem isn’t just that we’re exposed to toxins,” she explained. “It’s that we’re hosting parasites, viruses, microplastics, mycotoxins—things that take over when our bodies aren’t given the tools to fight back.”
What sets her formulations apart is their focus on remediation—not just detox. “We’re not just pulling toxins out,” she said. “We’re rebuilding the terrain. The goal is to clean, repair, and create a barrier of protection so the body doesn’t just survive—but thrives.”
This same approach extends beyond supplements to skincare, animal health, and her peptide line. “I want people to feel empowered to create peace inside their body,” she said. “And that starts with clean tools, real science, and deeper understanding.”
Clean Manufacturing & Scientific Integrity
Dr. Rahm didn’t just design the formulas—she took control of how they’re made. “Clean manufacturing has been the heaviest lift of my career,” she shared. “But I knew I had to take it on.”
Dr. Rahm is the Founder and Chief Science Officer of DRC Ventures where she oversees three manufacturing facilities —located in South Carolina, Nevada, and Tennessee— and is in the process of developing a second plant (Xoted Biotechnology Labs) dedicated to the detoxification power of seeds, plants, and leaves—designed to further reduce GMO contamination throughout the process. In her role as Chief Formulator of The ROOT Brands, she ensures that each ingredient undergoes rigorous testing both before and after production, supported by multi-stage purification protocols that meet international compliance standards worldwide.
Dr. Rahm’s commitment to excellence is more than a talking point—it’s embedded in every step of The ROOT Brands production. Her team earned a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) score of 98.7%, an impressive result by industry standards—but not by hers. “When we tested for GMP, we got a 98.7 score—and that wasn’t good enough for me,” she said.
The ROOT Brands operates under one of the most stringent compliance frameworks in the wellness industry, including FDA registration, Department of Defense protocols, NSF certification, and kosher, organic, and non-GMO standards. “I don’t just want to meet standards. I want to set them.”
With The ROOT Brands products distributed in more than 90 countries, global oversight is a constant. “Every country is different,” she noted. “They all have different standards. And the UAE... they send The ROOT Brands products out for third-party testing, so they don’t even care what I’ve done here. They make sure.”

Healing as Sovereignty
For Dr. Rahm, healing goes far beyond physical symptoms—it’s an act of self-reclamation. At the heart of her philosophy is a belief that true health begins with personal responsibility and spiritual alignment.
“Sovereignty means taking back control of your body,” she said. “Your skin, your cells, your choices. You might not control politics or the system—but you can choose how you protect, nourish, and empower your biology.”
She likens the human body to an intelligent, dynamic ecosystem. “Imagine inside this body—it’s a city. You and I are talking right now, but our cells are talking to each other,” she explained. In her view, each cell is a communicator, each organ a listener—and what we feed that system, whether toxic or loving, has real impact.
One of the most overlooked drivers of health, she says, is self-love.
“We are the largest source of energy and the best source of energy in the world,” Dr. Rahm emphasized. “And we need to love ourselves and empower ourselves for that.”
It’s a practice she lives and teaches. “I tell people, look in the mirror and say ‘I love you,’” she shared. “As a scientist, that might sound strange, but we’ve seen it—self-love changes biology.”
Trauma, Toxicity & Spiritual Disconnection
When asked about the link between trauma and chronic illness, Dr. Rahm didn’t hesitate. “I think they’re hugely connected,” she said.
In conventional medicine, she explained, the focus is often limited to what’s visible under a microscope. “You see an abnormal cell—it’s cancer, right? But the truth is, it goes much deeper than that.”
What’s missing, she emphasized, is recognition of the energetic and spiritual dimensions of healing. “There’s an energetic part to this. There’s a spiritual part to this. It’s all connected.”
In her own research and patient observation, she’s witnessed powerful transformations when people reconnect to something greater than themselves. “I saw things that people termed as miracles... and I do think to some extent they were,” she reflected. “But I also believe it was people believing in who had created them—who they were.”
According to Dr. Rahm, spiritual disconnection doesn’t just dull the mind—it can weaken the body. “I’ve seen people turn around chronic conditions not just with protocols—but by reconnecting to faith, purpose, or community.” Energetic healing, she insists, is real. “We just haven’t always had the language to prove it.”
For her, the future of wellness depends on one thing: our willingness to integrate the full spectrum of the human experience—science, emotion, energy, and spirit.
The Future of Medicine Is Personal—and Powerful
Dr. Rahm sees a seismic shift unfolding in the world of medicine—one that moves beyond prescriptions and protocols and into a new paradigm of personalized, integrative, and spiritually attuned care.
“Medicine is no longer just about pharmaceuticals,” she explained. “It’s beginning to include nutrition, energy sources, cold plunges—modalities that connect with the body on a deeper level. People are waking up to how their bodies really work. When I formulate products, I use heat, cold, magnets, and polarization—technologies that interact with the body’s systems on multiple levels.”
In her view, the future of wellness is no longer reserved for institutions or experts in lab coats. “You can’t box healing into a single model anymore,” she said. “Yes, we need doctors—but we also need shamans, spiritualists, biohackers, health coaches, and everyday people who are taking ownership of their healing. I believe every individual will have more choice—and more responsibility—in how they heal.”
That future isn’t far off. It’s already happening.
“People aren’t waiting for permission anymore,” Rahm said. “They’re learning, experimenting, biohacking, and building their own ecosystems of wellness—outside the boundaries of the traditional system.”
To her, the next generation of medicine is multidimensional—merging ancient wisdom with modern science, blending nature with data, and uniting physical, emotional, and energetic intelligence. It will integrate peptides, plants, magnetics, environmental detox, and human spirit into healing models designed not just to treat—but to transform.
And most importantly, it will be accessible.
Not just for professionals.
But for the people.

The One Truth That Unlocks Healing
When asked to share one truth that could unlock true healing, Dr. Rahm didn’t hesitate:
“Love yourself.”
“It sounds simple,” she admitted, “but it’s the foundation of everything.”
She shared a daily ritual that’s changed her life—one that reconnects her with the core of her own humanity: “Look in the mirror and say, ‘I love you.’ Really look. Sometimes I cry, to be honest.”
In an industry often driven by protocols, data, and performance, Dr. Rahm’s message cuts deeper.
“You’re going to die someday,” she said. “But you better love yourself while you’re doing it.”
In a world crowded with noise and prescriptions, her voice offers a return to something ancient and enduring: self-love as a form of cellular intelligence. A frequency that calibrates the body, the mind, and the spirit back to truth.
Her work lives at the intersection of science and soul—where healing isn’t something we chase…
It’s something we remember.
