Shawn D. Kaplan builds platforms where wellness, media, and technology meet and where ideas become movements. As Co-Founder of The World of Wellness (WOW) Festival, Vice President & Co-Founder of Miami Swim Week®, The Shows, Chief Operating Officer of the Limitless Live creator platform, and Co-Founder of Green Maidworks, he brings two decades of company-building, operations, and partnerships to BioHack Yourself Media Agency’s mission: empower creators and brands to inspire healthier, higher-performing lives. His through line is consistent across ventures, starting with people, design for outcomes, and delivering experiences that compound in value year after year.
At BioHack Yourself Media Agency, Shawn drives a creator-first, data-driven approach to brand building. He architects partnerships that combine premium storytelling with measurable performance, uniting wellness brands, practitioners, and creators across live events, digital channels, and media properties. He’s known for translating vision into execution: aligning stakeholders, wiring KPIs and dashboards, and building processes that scale without sacrificing craft. Whether the brief is a national sponsorship program or a city-level economic-impact initiative, he brings the same operating rhythm, clarity, speed, and accountability.
As Co-Founder of the World of Wellness Festival, Shawn is designing a next-generation, multi-day experience built around fitness, biohacking, recovery, mental resilience, nutrition, and high-performance living. He developed the operating system behind the festival executive structure, legal and IP readiness, budget and finance oversight, city relations, safety and compliance, stage and venue production, talent and programming, content capture and licensing, and post-event analytics so that value accrues to partners long after the lights go down. The WOW model is intentionally portable: a scalable blueprint that can travel between markets while preserving brand standards and sponsor ROI.
Shawn’s event philosophy emphasizes both measurable outcomes and “unreasonable hospitality.” He ensures sponsors and speakers feel treated like partners, not placements; that VIPs, investors, and civic leaders experience concierge-level care; and that creators have the tools to turn attention into income. He’s equally at home presenting to a mayor’s office on permitting and infrastructure as he is storyboarding a sizzle reel with the content team or dialing in the run-of-show. This blend of executive rigor and hands-on production is central to the WOW Festival’s design and to BioHack Yourself’s broader media strategy.

Shawn Kaplan shaped Miami Swim Week into a global platform.
As Vice President & Co-Founder of Miami Swim Week, The Shows, Shawn helped transform a niche fashion week into a recognized cultural platform. He led external partnerships, venue strategy, media relations, and sponsor integrations while shaping guest experience and spatial design. His oversight included contracts with iconic venues, integrations for consumer and luxury partners, and relationship management with designers, models, and global media. That experience launching high-stakes productions at pace and at scale cemented his reputation as an operator who can deliver polish, profitability, and press while protecting the integrity of the creative.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer of Limitless Live, Shawn is building a creator-centric streaming platform that pairs multi-angle live video with commerce, community, and rights-aware monetization. His remit spans go-to-market readiness, product-to-operations translation, and scalable launch playbooks for creators, festivals, and brands. What makes this relevant to BioHack Yourself is distribution: Limitless gives wellness voices interactive reach and converts audience engagement into sustainable revenue streams. It’s a modern stack for the agency’s programming ownable content, live community, and direct-to-consumer outcomes.

Before wellness and creator tech were mainstream, Shawn co-founded Green Maidworks, the first in the nation environmentally forward cleaning and facilities firm recognized by early green-building advocates in Washington, D.C. Long before “eco-friendly” was a corporate slogan, he helped establish standards for healthier interiors and responsible operations in multi-family housing and hospitality. During COVID-19, he guided large-scale disinfection programs for multi-tenant portfolio work that reaffirmed a science-minded, trust-first operating posture. Green Maidworks informs his approach to wellness today: prioritize safety, validate with data, and communicate with transparency.
Shawn’s career is marked by firsts that foreshadowed the creator economy: pioneering airline Wi-Fi deployments in partnership with Telia AB; supporting strategic acquisition and divestment activity around Tier-1 backbone infrastructure at Apex Global Systems; co-creating a virtual ISP marketing platform with Music Vision that powered fan engagement for global pop acts; leading GTM and client growth at Crably to modernize digital sales funnels; and applying AI-driven scheduling and field-service automation to solve labor-market inefficiencies. Each chapter sharpened his instincts for building systems that are both technically sound and commercially resilient.

Shawn Kaplan turns wellness ideas into movements with impact.
Hospitality also runs through his work. As founder of Tampa Hospitality Group, his Simply Sushi concept earned “Best Sushi Restaurant in Tampa” honors. That balance of culinary creativity and operational discipline shows up in his events playbook today: carefully orchestrated guest flow, backstage logistics that respect talent and crew, wayfinding and signage that reduce friction, and hospitality touches that make every stakeholder feel seen. He treats brand promise as a contract with the audience and designs every touchpoint to keep it. Colleagues often describe Shawn’s leadership as strategic yet grounded. He writes master P&Ls and cash-flow plans, runs pre-mortems to surface risks, and leads post-mortems to convert lessons into playbooks. He negotiates JV and revenue-share agreements, aligns IP and trademark strategy with distribution plans, and engineers tiered sponsorships that align value to outcomes. He builds small, high-agency teams and augments them with specialized partners, creative, production, legal, and PR so the organization can flex without bloating. Most importantly, he communicates clearly and candidly, giving teams autonomy with accountability.
Why BioHack Yourself? Because the agency sits at the center of a growing wellness ecosystem: original programming, a premium magazine and digital network, live forums for thought leaders, and a constellation of partner events. Shawn’s portfolio amplifies that center of gravity. The WOW Festival becomes an annual tentpole with year-round content; Miami Swim Week brings global visibility and cultural cachet; Limitless Live unlocks interactive distribution and commerce; and Green Maidworks anchors the agency’s commitment to sustainability and trust. Together, these platforms form a flywheel: content begets community, community begets commerce, and commerce funds more content and impact.
In a sentence: Shawn D. Kaplan is a deal architect and operator who turns wellness ideas into enduring media, events, and technology businesses connecting creators and brands to the people they’re here to serve. At BioHack Yourself Media Agency, he’s building systems that help audiences live better, help creators earn better, and help partners measure what matters. It’s builder’s work, done with creator empathy and executive rigor and it’s only just getting started.
