No matter where you are in the world, everyone comes from a background that is personal and unique to the individual. In the story of our lives, each of us writes our own pages, and when things don’t turn out as planned, it's never too late to turn the page and start a new chapter. Luke Storey exemplifies this philosophy, demonstrating that no matter how deep our struggles, we have the power to redefine our path and create a narrative of hope, strength, and renewal.
Luke Storey has authored one of the most compelling narratives, reminding us that redemption and transformation are possible for anyone. From hitting rock bottom in the depths of addiction to completely rewriting his life as an influential role model in the biohacking community, Luke Storey's journey is one of resilience, emotional healing, spiritual awakening, and personal redemption.
Luke Storey sat down with the Lolli family during an interview for the “Biohack Yourself” documentary, where he shared that he initially entered the world of wellness and spirituality through much trial and error. He shared his life-transformative journey and holistic approach to health and wellness, emphasizing that the solutions to many of the world's problems lie in the power of human connection and comprehensive lifestyle design.
Storey's early chapters were riddled with profound struggle. He faced significant childhood traumas that ultimately led to a descent into drug addiction, which began alarmingly early in his life, around the age of nine. At 26, he was living a rock-and-roll lifestyle in Hollywood and realized he was at rock bottom – that he had destroyed his life. He entered a treatment center, marking the beginning of what he calls his second life. This transformative period was crucial, as he discovered the necessity of rediscovering himself and understanding the root causes of his suffering.

While the beginning of his life and struggles were devastating, Storey believes they were imperative for his healing. Once sober, he began to willingly explore religion and spirituality, concepts otherwise neglected during the first half of his life. Rediscovering God, he came to understand that knowledge is power and that we are responsible for our own paths and decisions. This understanding liberated him, allowing him to contextualize his life experiences and begin to heal. This introspective journey enabled him to confront and understand the abandonment he felt from birth and his subsequent yearning for love and connection. This profound self-awareness has empowered Storey to embody his truth, ultimately liberating him from past traumas.

Storey frequently asks himself, “What are we missing out on in a natural way?” In terms of the outer world, he examines how we become disconnected and how to use technology to mimic some of the most powerful healing energies found in nature. In the late '90s, Storey began exploring practices that would later be recognized as biohacking. He immersed himself in infrared saunas, fasting, kombucha brewing, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy long before these became mainstream. Over time, he regained his physical vitality, which complemented his spiritual and emotional healing. Storey's work now involves educating and inspiring people about the interconnectedness of physical health, emotional healing, and spiritual growth. He believes in doing the emotional work, committing to different forms of therapy and meditation, and using various biohacks to ensure he is as healthy as possible so he can manifest the life he wants once his healing is complete.

Today, Storey works to educate and inspire others about metaphysical growth, consciousness, emotional healing, trauma healing, and addiction recovery. His philosophy, encapsulated in his podcast "The Lifestylist," reflects his comprehensive approach to health and lifestyle design. He emphasizes the importance of aligning with nature and fortifying the body to serve one's purpose. His background as a celebrity fashion stylist in Hollywood informs his understanding of superficial beauty, which he has transposed into the concept of internal health and wellness. Storey believes in meeting people where they are, whether they are beginning their journey on a superficial level or delving deeper into metaphysical realms.
Through his podcast and public speaking engagements around the world, Storey reaches a diverse audience, discussing topics ranging from physical health and vitality to consciousness and the energetics of the body. His ability to connect with people from various walks of life keeps his passion alive and allows him to continually learn and grow. His upcoming book, "A Horse Named Lonesome," delves into the human dilemma of loneliness, exploring childhood trauma, addiction, and the journey towards overcoming it as a heart-centered journey.
