Dr. Jessica Peatross discovered a profound truth—that the body is an innate healing machine capable of remarkable transformations when provided with the right environment and support. "It breaks my heart that people think that they were born a certain way, it's in their genes, and they don't understand that they have so much power and control over their health," she said. This paradigm shift marked a pivotal moment in her career, igniting a passion for helping individuals harness the power and control of their bodies beyond genetic predispositions or initial conditions.

Dr. Jessica Peatross, widely known as the Mold Doctor, stands at the intersection of conventional medicine and holistic healing, bringing forth a wealth of knowledge and empowerment to those seeking a deeper understanding of their health. In an interview for the ‘Biohack Yourself’ documentary, she shares how journey began in the structured corridors of hospitals, where she diligently absorbed the teachings of Western medicine during her seven-year tenure. However, it was her growing sense of curiosity and a desire to question established norms that led her down a path of exploration into holistic methods of healing.

One of Dr. Peatross's fundamental beliefs is the importance of asking "why" in order to drive meaningful improvements in health outcomes. By peeling back the layers to uncover root causes rather than merely addressing symptoms, she found a more holistic and effective approach to healing. "Why even autoimmune conditions? Why do you have high blood pressure? Why do you have cancer? Why is this going on? Asking 'why' until I could ask no more was the most important thing to do," she emphasized. This holistic view extends to her advocacy for biohacking, which she sees as a tool for empowering individuals to reclaim agency over their health.

She leads by example, and doesn't recommend anything she wouldn't do herself, ensuring that her guidance is not only rooted in knowledge but also in authenticity and personal experience. "I try and walk the walk and not just talk the talk. My house is a mini biohacking center because when I have money to spend, I want to spend it on my health because I know how precious and priceless that is," Dr. Peatross shared.

"Some of my favorite things are cold plunges, saunas, and a protocol called kill, bind, sweat, which means killing something off with an herbal antibiotic or antimicrobial, taking a binder to mop things up, and then getting in a sauna to sweat out that complex," she described. Additionally, she has experienced the benefits of neurofeedback and hyperbaric oxygen chambers first-hand, using these tools to recover from a traumatic brain injury.
