LATEST STORIES

If you or someone you love has ever been told, “There’s nothing more we can do,” I want you to know something: there is always hope.

I’ve seen it firsthand. I’ve watched a stage IV cancer retreat, I’ve seen women who were told they’d never conceive go on to have healthy pregnancies, and I’ve witnessed people walk again after being wheelchair-bound from an autoimmune disease.

I’ve also experienced remarkable healing in my own family; my mother’s story of recovering from cancer is one of the most powerful examples I know of the body’s God-given ability to heal.

These stories aren’t miracles by chance, but the result of restoring the body’s natural healing intelligence. Let’s explore how that healing happens, and the exact foods, herbs, and lifestyle changes that can make it possible.

My Mom’s Cancer Came Back, But So Did Her Hope

Years ago, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She followed conventional treatment to a T, including undergoing surgery, radiation, and even chemotherapy. And it worked… for a while.

Then, the cancer came back, more aggressively than before. This time, she decided to go a different route.

Together, we built a protocol rooted in natural medicine. She radically changed her diet. She loaded up on immune-boosting herbs and cancer-fighting nutrients. She began practicing emotional healing, prayer, and daily gratitude. And this time, her healing held. My mom’s cancer went into remission and never came back.

That experience lit a fire in me that’s never gone out.

Over the years, I’ve helped thousands of people beat the odds using time-tested principles from ancient healing systems like Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), biblical nutrition, and cutting-edge functional medicine.

These systems might look different on the surface, but they all revolve around one central truth: your body is designed to heal; you just have to give it the right support.

The Real Cure Is Creating the Right Environment

Modern medicine typically treats disease like an enemy to be attacked. But natural medicine sees disease as a messenger. When symptoms show up, such as chronic fatigue, pain, rashes, infertility, and anxiety, they’re not viewed as being random or a result of a broken or flawed body. Instead, they’re considered signals that the body’s internal environment is out of balance and needs attending to.

In functional medicine, instead of fighting the symptoms, we ask: What does the body need to restore balance and heal itself?

That’s the foundation of every “impossible” healing I’ve seen: people first remove the things causing harm, replenish the nutrients they’ve lost, and reset their body’s healing systems.

Here's how I help them do it.

1. Start With Food as Medicine

You’ve probably heard me say this before, and I’ll keep repeating it—what you eat has the power to either feed disease or fight it. Food isn’t just fuel; it’s information for your body. Change the input and you change the output.

When I build healing diets for patients, I often focus first on:

  • Nutrient-dense superfoods, such as organ meats, wild-caught salmon, bone broth, leafy greens, berries, and cruciferous vegetables—all of which help lower inflammation and repair tissues in the gut

  • Healing fats, such as avocados, coconut oil, olive oil, and omega-3-rich foods (like walnuts, sardines, and salmon—all common in the Mediterranean Diet), which help counteract inflammation, support cellular health, and protect brain and heart health

  • Herbs and spices, especially turmeric, ginger, garlic, rosemary, and oregano, which basically act as nature’s pharmacy. These herbs are full of powerful compounds that fight disease and pathogens, lower inflammation, and even support detoxification

  • Gut-friendly staples, including probiotic-rich foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, and kefir, plus collagen and L-glutamine, help rebuild the gut lining (where the majority of the immune system is found) and restore immune defenses

2. Target the Root Cause With Herbal Medicine

In Chinese medicine, we use herbs to restore balance to specific organ systems. I’ve used

these ancient remedies, along with certain clinically proven Western herbs, to help patients reverse everything from Hashimoto’s to Parkinson’s.

Herbs (and other supplements) aren’t a one-size-fits-all. I always tailor the herbal plan to the person’s unique constitution and condition.

3. Heal the Gut = Heal the Brain & the Whole Body

About 70% to 80% of your immune system lives in your gut. So does most of your serotonin, a "feel-good" chemical that leaves you feeling calm. If your gut’s inflamed or leaky, your entire system—including your immune, endocrine, and neurological systems—starts to break down.

Some people can actually reverse or at least greatly improve “incurable” diseases simply by addressing gut infections, repairing their intestinal lining, and restoring microbial balance. I’ve seen people overcome Crohn’s, fibromyalgia, and even multiple sclerosis just by healing their guts.

That’s why I almost always start healing protocols with:

  • A 30-day elimination diet to remove inflammatory foods, like added sugar, refined grains, poor quality vegetable oils, and often gluten and dairy, which can trigger allergic responses

  • A gut-repair protocol with foods and supplements like bone broth, probiotics, glutamine, and enzymes

  • Antimicrobials to clear out candida, parasites, or SIBO, if needed

4. Reset the Nervous System With Lifestyle Medicine

Chronic stress can put you at higher risk for—or even worsen—nearly every major illness, including autoimmune disease, hormone imbalance, cardiovascular issues, digestive disorders, you name it. That’s why nervous system healing is non-negotiable.

When your nervous system feels safe, your body can finally start to repair. Want to know my top tools?

  • Daily prayer and biblical meditation. These practices help calm the mind and bring peace to the soul, which has benefits for the physical body, too.

  • Breathwork and grounding. Deep breathing, sunlight, and time in nature (such as "forest bathing" and spending time in green spaces or by bodies of water) help downshift the body from “fight or flight” into “rest and digest.”

  • Movement, such as gentle exercise like walking, rebounding, or yoga, which helps pump the lymph, oxygenate tissues, and release endorphins

5. Believe That Healing Is Possible

Finally—and this is huge—you have to believe it’s possible. The people who defy the odds are the ones who take ownership of their health and trust in something greater than the diagnosis.

Faith, hope, community, and mindset all matter more than we think. The science backs this up: people who attend church regularly, for example, live longer and report better physical and mental health.

So when someone says your condition is “incurable,” I want you to remember—what they really mean is they don’t know how to help you. But that doesn’t mean healing is off the table.

There Is a Natural Cure

I’m not here to bash conventional medicine; I know that it helps save lives. But for chronic disease, autoimmunity, hormonal disorders, and even cancer, there is often a better way—one that's more holistic and that honors the body’s wisdom and works with it, rather than against it.

That’s the natural cure I'm talking about. And I believe, no matter what you’re facing, you can start healing today.
