Dr. Bush collaborated with Anthony Lolli and TereZa Hakobyan-Lolli for the Biohack Yourself Documentary where he explained that he believes that life is like a symphony, where everything in nature is interconnected. He explains that every cell in our body can develop cancer if it's isolated from its environment, highlighting the importance of the microbiome. This idea challenges the traditional medical view that the body should be sterile and instead suggests that our health depends on a healthy, collaborative system of microorganisms within us.

“Every single cell in the human body is capable of expressing cancer if you isolate it from its environment. And so the isolation begins not just at the human cell level, but actually in isolation from the microbiome, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, this huge life force that lives within our soils beneath our feet, but also within the soils of our body.”

Zach Bush discusses human intelligence with the Lolli children

His brand, ION (Intelligence of Nature), supports natural cell communication rather than adding external substances. Dr. Bush’s cancer research found that high doses of nutrients can make cancer cells eliminate themselves naturally. He advocates for moving away from traditional education, which he sees as programming the mind, towards experiential learning that fosters curiosity and creativity.

“ION is a constant reminder to anybody who grabs a bottle, that all of this is an expression of nature's inherent intelligence,” he said in the documentary. “And it's a first in its category. It's called a carbon redox carrier. And so the carbon molecules made by bacteria, fungi and protozoa in the soil systems or your gut are creating these carbon molecules that function as a cellular network of communication.”

Overall, Dr. Bush inspires a movement towards a healthier, more connected world through his innovative approaches in medicine, nutrition, and environmental health.
