Faith, Family, and Biological Dentistry: Taylor and Bryant Zollinger’s Vision in Bye Ol’ Dentistry

Bryant Zollinger, DDS, and Taylor Zollinger, DMD, are biological dentists whose work is rooted in a shared belief that oral health is inseparably connected to whole-body wellness. Together, they advocate for a model of dentistry focused on prevention, biocompatibility, airway health, and systemic healing—an approach that aligns naturally with the mission of Bye Ol’ Dentistry, the Lolli Brands Entertainment documentary exploring the future of biologically informed dental care.

“Bye Ol’ Dentistry” explores how oral health is deeply connected to systemic inflammation, nervous system regulation, sleep quality, airway function, and long-term wellness. The Zollinger brothers’ work reflects this same philosophy. Rather than viewing dentistry as an isolated treatment of teeth and symptoms, they focus on understanding the broader health patterns influencing disease and dysfunction. Their approach emphasizes prevention-first care, safe and biocompatible treatment protocols, and supporting the body’s natural capacity to heal and thrive.

Bryant Zollinger: Building a More Holistic Model of Dentistry

Bryant Zollinger’s journey into biological dentistry began through a growing realization that traditional dentistry often failed to address the deeper contributors to chronic health challenges. After years in conventional practice, he transitioned toward a more holistic and biologically informed approach that considered the mouth as an integral part of the entire body rather than an isolated system.

As Bryant immersed himself in continuing education focused on biological dentistry, airway health, safe mercury removal, oral function, and systemic wellness, his philosophy of care evolved dramatically. He became increasingly aware of how restorative materials, chronic oral infections, jaw development, sleep quality, and inflammation can influence a patient’s overall health and quality of life.

Today, Bryant practices from a prevention-focused framework centered on biocompatibility, functional healing, and long-term wellness. His goal is not simply to repair teeth, but to help patients identify root causes, reduce chronic stress on the body, and create a stronger foundation for lifelong health. This philosophy has also shaped the culture of the practice he built alongside his brother Taylor, where patient care is approached collaboratively and through a whole-body lens.

Taylor Zollinger: A Personal Health Journey That Changed Everything

Taylor Zollinger earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in 2020 before joining Bryant in practice. While his clinical training initially followed a more traditional dental path, a deeply personal family experience ultimately reshaped his understanding of health and healing.

After years of struggling with infertility while trying to grow their family, Taylor and his wife, Nicole, underwent extensive medical testing only to be diagnosed with “unexplained infertility.” Faced with few answers, they began pursuing a more comprehensive approach to health centered around nutrition, exercise, cleaner living, reducing environmental toxins, and reevaluating the materials and exposures affecting their everyday lives.

Over time, the changes transformed their overall well-being and ultimately led to the blessing of welcoming a healthy baby boy into their family. That experience became a defining turning point for Taylor and reinforced his belief that the body possesses a remarkable capacity to heal when properly supported.

As Bryant introduced him to biological dentistry courses and patient healing stories, Taylor became increasingly passionate about a model of care that viewed oral health as deeply connected to systemic wellness. Since then, he has pursued extensive advanced training in biological dentistry and developed a particular passion for biological oral surgery and regenerative care.

His clinical work focuses heavily on the removal of chronically infected root canals, treatment of cavitations and bony infections, and placement of zirconia implants selected for their biocompatibility and long-term function. Taylor believes these procedures can have significant downstream effects on overall health when performed with precision and careful consideration for the patient’s broader biological context.

Biological Dentistry Rooted in Prevention and Whole-Body Healing

Together, Bryant and Taylor Zollinger practice from a biology-aligned philosophy that prioritizes prevention, functional restoration, and support for the body’s natural healing processes. They believe the mouth serves as both a reflection of systemic health and a major contributor to overall well-being. Airway dysfunction, chronic inflammation, poor sleep, jaw instability, oral infections, and toxic burden can all influence health far beyond the oral cavity.

This perspective drives their commitment to safe surgical protocols, biocompatible restorative materials, airway-focused care, and treatments designed to support long-term health rather than short-term symptom management. Through biological dentistry, they aim to help patients build resilience, improve quality of life, and better understand the connection between oral and systemic health.

Faith, Family, and the Future of Dentistry

Faith and family remain central to the Zollinger brothers’ lives and philosophy of care. Together with their families, they are committed to holistic living and to raising their children with values centered on health, stewardship, and faith. Taylor and his wife, Nicole, enjoy spending time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest with their three children, while both brothers prioritize active lifestyles and intentional living.

Their faith has also shaped the way they view healing and patient care. Through both personal experience and clinical practice, the brothers believe true healing often requires addressing physical, emotional, environmental, and spiritual well-being together. They have witnessed firsthand how biologically informed care and lifestyle changes can profoundly impact health, and they are passionate about sharing that message with others.

Their participation in Bye Ol’ Dentistry reflects a shared desire to contribute to a growing movement that challenges outdated healthcare models and encourages people to rethink the relationship between oral health and whole-body wellness. For Bryant and Taylor Zollinger, the documentary represents more than dentistry alone—it represents a broader cultural shift toward prevention, personal responsibility, biologically intelligent care, and helping patients rediscover the body’s ability to heal from the inside out.
