Biohack Yourself Media is a visual depiction of ambition realized.

Filmmakers have always used documentaries as a form of self-expression; a means to communicate a truth or experience. For us, documentary filmmaking came into our lives in a more professional capacity--it was our response to the requests from doctors, scientists, and inventors needing a platform to communicate their science to the world.

When we started this journey, we made sure to honor the existing landscape of regenerative medicine, but at the same time, seize the opportunity to create something new.

We had to be unabashed in our approach to this project and admit--to ourselves and the world--that we had health concerns. However, in the process of filming 113 interviews over nine months, we became aware of the struggles and health problems of people with pain-to-passion stories. This gave us a new perspective on what we initially considered our “health crisis.”

As the popular saying goes, “The man with no shoes felt bad for himself until he saw the man with no feet.”

As we explored the topic further, we recognized the need for reliable and accessible information portals to fortify the support structures that already exist in this wonderful world we discovered.

We got to work right away and it was an incredible cognitive lift to get things done.

So many people would simply cling to the problem and default to discussing how they would theoretically solve it, rather than rolling up their sleeves and doing the work. Not us.

The process was not easy--we met many high-level people who did not behave like professionals. A handful turned up their noses at participating in our documentaries because they didn’t want to be associated with what they called “pseudoscience influencers.”

In our opinion, there was an underlying professional jealousy over someone with social media prominence that they labeled as ”fringe.”

We were surprised to find that some of these so-called experts advertise a fake openness and are, in fact, truly unaware of scientific history.

Thankfully, there were also top figures, specialists, and innovators who helped us in our efforts to bring science-based information to the public, from our past projects, current ones, and those still in pre-production. These heroes were extremely cooperative and generous with their time and knowledge, and none asked to be paid.

In fact, they came to our set at their own expense, many from great distances, to help spearhead this global life-spanning and health-spanning movement.

At the center of all this is our family. This content is made by a family, to be consumed by other families all over the world. We abide by the principles of Lashon Hara.

The current policies and systems in place are highly consequential and are impacting people’s lives at scale. While it is not our place to condemn or criticize the powers in place, we feel a burden to keep people informed. Therefore, we choose a more curious approach of seeking information and solutions with a positive focus on the future.

We have carefully outlined our terms, conditions, and consequences as a commitment to transparency and accountability.

We feel beyond blessed to have the opportunity to work with such great experts and icons and be able to share their knowledge and causes with the world; and to put a spotlight on some health advocates that might have been overlooked.
